Questions

Is Lumibout really free?

Yes. The Free plan is $0 for good: quizzes with up to 100 players, and every party game — Team battle, Lucky draw, Werewolf and Undercover — with up to 15. Paid plans and Event Passes are for bigger rooms.

Do players need an account?

No. Players open lumibout.com, type the game PIN and a nickname, and they’re in. No app, no sign-up, no email.

Which AI works with “Create with your AI”?

Any AI chat that can follow a prompt and reply with text — for example ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot. You copy our prompt, paste the reply back and review it. Our servers don’t call an AI for this.

What happens to our data?

Players give only a nickname. Hosts sign in with an email link. We don’t use tracking cookies, and we never sell your data. The details are in our privacy notice. Privacy notice.

How many players can join a game?

On Free, up to 100 in a quiz and up to 15 in a party game. Plus: 300 in every game. Pro: 2,000. Event Pass: 500 or 2,000.

Can I use it at school?

Yes. Students join with a nickname only — ask them not to use their full name. Our templates include a science quiz for kids.

How do payments work?

Paid plans and Event Passes open soon. Checkout is run by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record: it takes the payment, handles tax and sends the invoice. We never see your card. Cancel a subscription any time from Manage subscription; unused Event Passes are refundable within 14 days.
