Wedding games for guests

Wedding guests know the couple from different chapters of their lives. A quiz about the couple brings those stories together. Everyone plays on their own phone with a PIN and a name, the big screen shows how the room answered, and nobody needs an app.

A live quiz: names light up on the big screen as guests answer on their phones.

What to play

How to run it

  1. Fill in the couple’s story. Open the template and replace the brackets with real details: where they met, the first trip, the proposal. A close friend of each partner can help.
  2. Put the PIN on the screen. Use the venue’s projector or a TV. Guests scan the QR code at their table and type a name.
  3. Play, then draw the prizes. Run the quiz after dinner or between the speeches, then use the Lucky draw button for the table prizes.

Questions

Can the couple play too?

They can, though they’ll know most of the answers. It’s often more fun to let a friend host while the couple watches the big screen.

How many people can play?

Free plan: quizzes (including Majority rules) up to 100 players, party games (Team battle, Lucky draw, Breach, Undercover) up to 15. Plus: 300 in every game. Pro: 2,000. Event Pass: 500 or 2,000 for one event, 7 days, no subscription. Paid plans and Event Passes are coming soon. A lucky draw with more than 15 guests needs Plus, Pro or an Event Pass; the pass is made for one-off events like a wedding.

Can guests who couldn’t travel join in?

Yes. Share the big screen on your video call (Zoom, Teams, Meet or any other) and everyone joins on their phone with the PIN. The room and the call play in one game.

Do players need an app or an account?

No. Players open lumibout.com, type the PIN and a name, and they’re in. Only the host signs in, with an email link.
