Holiday party games for work
A good holiday party needs something the whole room does together. Lumibout runs the game on one big screen, and everyone plays on their own phone with a PIN and a name. There’s no app to install, and it works the same in the office or on a video call.
Free for quizzes with up to 100 players and party games with up to 15.
What to play
Breach
Werewolf at work. Hackers hide among colleagues, the room votes them out, and the big screen shares a true security tip each round. For 6 or more people.
Holiday party quiz
Ten light questions about winter holidays around the world, so everyone can join in whatever they celebrate. Add a few about your team.
Lucky draw
Close the party by drawing the door prizes on the big screen. The winner’s phone lights up.
How to run it
- Pick your games. Open the holiday quiz template, or choose Breach when you host. You sign in with your email; there’s nothing to install.
- Put the PIN on the big screen. Use the projector, or share your screen on the video call. People scan the QR code or type the PIN at lumibout.com.
- Play, then draw the prizes. Run the quiz or a few rounds of Breach, then use the Lucky draw button to give out prizes at the end.
Questions
Does it work for a virtual holiday party?
Yes. Share the big screen on your video call (Zoom, Teams, Meet or any other) and everyone joins on their phone with the PIN. The room and the call play in one game. In Breach, each round’s discussion happens out loud on the call, then everyone votes on their phone.
How many people can play?
Free plan: quizzes (including Majority rules) up to 100 players, party games (Team battle, Lucky draw, Breach, Undercover) up to 15. Plus: 300 in every game. Pro: 2,000. Event Pass: 500 or 2,000 for one event, 7 days, no subscription. Paid plans and Event Passes are coming soon.
Is it suitable for work?
Yes. The games are written for the office, and a wrong answer is never shown next to anyone’s name on the big screen. Players choose their own nickname.
Do players need an app or an account?
No. Players open lumibout.com, type the PIN and a name, and they’re in. Only the host signs in, with an email link.
