Breach: Werewolf at work, with security tips

Hackers have slipped into the company network. Everyone gets a secret role on their phone, and the room has to find the hackers before they take over. After every night the big screen shares one short, true security tip, so the game doubles as light security-awareness training.

How it works

  1. Open a Breach room. Choose Werewolf when you host; Breach is its office theme. You need at least 6 players, and big rooms split into tables that play at the same pace.
  2. Peek at your role. Players join with the PIN and a name. Their role (Hacker, Security analyst, IT helpdesk or Employee) shows on their phone only while they hold the card, so neighbors can’t read it.
  3. After hours. Hackers pick a colleague to phish. The Security analyst checks someone’s logs, and IT helpdesk turns on MFA to protect one person. Everyone else’s phone stays quiet.
  4. Overnight report. The big screen shows who was phished and locked out, or that the attempt was blocked, with a true security tip.
  5. Morning standup and security review. Each table talks it over out loud, then everyone votes on their phone. The counts update live, and the account with the most votes is locked.
  6. Network secured. Employees win when every hacker is locked out; hackers win once they are as many as everyone else. Everyone’s roles are revealed at the end.
