Undercover: the word party game, with Tailgater for work
Everyone gets a secret word on their phone. Most people share the same word, one or two get a slightly different one, and nobody is told which they have. Take turns describing your word out loud, listen closely, then vote out the odd one. Tailgater, the office edition, plays with everyday security words and shares a short security tip after every badge check.
How it works
- Open an Undercover room. Choose Undercover when you host. Tailgater uses the Security at work word pack; there are also packs for office life, food, travel and everyday things, or you can type your own word pairs. You need at least 4 players.
- Peek at your word. Players join with the PIN and a name. Their word shows on their phone only while they hold the card. At tables of 6 or more you can add a player with no word at all, who has to blend in.
- Introductions. In a random order, each person says one thing about their word, out loud. Nothing is typed; phones show whose turn it is.
- Badge check. Everyone votes on their phone, and the player with the most votes is escorted to reception.
- Office secured. The group wins when every tailgater is found; the tailgaters win if they last until they are as many as everyone else. Everyone’s words are revealed at the end.
