Cheer Train: the knockout where the whole room ends up cheering

In-room, with a virtual option

Everyone starts as the leader of a line of one. Leaders find another leader, play a quick match on their phones (rock, paper, scissors, or a quiz race on questions you pick), and the loser’s whole line joins the winner’s. Followers vote on their leader’s next move and predict other matches, so losing never means sitting out. 2,000 people finish in about 11 rounds, and the final is two giant lines cheering on one move.

How it works

  1. Open a Cheer Train room. Choose Cheer Train when you host: duels or tables of 3 to 4, and rock, paper, scissors or a quiz race on one of your quizzes.
  2. Leaders find a match. In the room, leaders type each other’s codes and their lines follow them. Anyone still alone is matched automatically; an odd one out gets a bye.
  3. The line votes. Followers vote on their leader’s move and the leader sees the split before choosing. Followers can also predict featured matches for points.
  4. Lines merge. The loser’s line joins the winner’s. The big screen shows the bracket shrinking round by round.
  5. The final. Two giant lines face off, and everyone in the winning line shares the win.
