Read the Room: guess what your colleagues picked
Ask something everyday — “Team lunch: pizza, sushi or salad?” — and everyone picks in secret. Then each player guesses how much of the room picked the same, or how many at their table did. After a short window to change your guess, the big screen reveals the split and who read the room right.
How it plays
- Add it to any quiz. Pick Read the Room as the question type in the editor. Play the whole room at once, or seat people at tables of 4 to 12.
- Pick and guess. Each phone makes a secret pick and a guess: a share of the room in whole-room mode, or how many others at your table picked the same.
- Change your mind once. In a short revise window, phones see the guesses (never the picks) of the room or their table, and may change their guess once.
- The reveal. The big screen shows how the room or each table split, and names everyone who called it. A lonely pick read right still scores well.
When to use it
- Warm-ups at town halls and all-hands
- Classrooms: estimation and fractions in whole-room mode
- Tables at company dinners
